Pleasurable Partnership
Some chores are ongoing and nearly universal.  For those you dread, try to find a like-minded partner to work with you to make the time pass quicker and the work load lighter.  If you team with a spouse, jointly tackle housekeeping and yard work duties.  If a friend is your partner of choice, tackle the dust and mowing together at your house one week and at her house the next.

Spa Time
Once you’ve tamed the stress-producing clutter in the bathroom, transform it into a relaxing haven with a few innovations.  Purchase an easy-to-install dimmer switch for the light, add a Conair Thermal Spa soft cushion bath mat to the tub (around $30), and buy a waterproof neck pillow.  Once the kids are settled, turn down the lights, throw in some scented bubble bath or bath oil, put on some soft music, and unwind.

Load ’em Up
Keeping up with the laundry is a challenge for most moms.  After the sorting and loading, you still have the folding and putting away.  Try a new method to save steps.  Purchase a laundry basket for each member of the household who is old enough to carry clothing. Stack their clean clothes in their basket right out of the dryer and enforce a mandatory basket pick-up as they head to bed each night.

Keep It Handy
A variety of household cleaning agents can be found in every home.  For multitasking mothers, it’s not unusual to drop the dusting cloth to head back to the cabinet for the spot remover and then be sidetracked with three more tasks before getting back to the dust.  In order to streamline the process, get a handled plastic carrier to store all the cleaning products, and carry it with you as you go from room to room.

Cut The Clutter
Bathrooms are often the busiest yet smallest rooms in the house.  Try these solutions for cramped quarters.
